According to the report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), if greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise at the current rate, the earth’s atmosphere will rise in temperature by six degrees Fahrenheit or more until the end of the century, triggering devastating wildfires, droughts, food shortages, and rapidly rising sea levels.
