CIE Lunchtime Series Talks

This series provides an opportunity to highlight the research conducted by the faculty, staff and visiting researches at the Center, along with invited guest speakers, for the IE community at YSE. The talks are typically held during Friday lunch with time for Q&A and feedback from the audience.

CIE Workshops

Collaborative workshops are held one-two times each year in conjunction with ongoing research projects, often with industry partners.

Lecture Series Archive 

The Center for Industrial Ecology hosted a Lecture Series spanning more than twenty years that brought speakers from companies and organizations to the Yale School of the Environment to discuss relationship between business and the environment. At least 4 lectures were hosted annually and open to the public. The IEM Lecture Series was supported by the Joel Omura Kurihara Fund.

International Conferences

The International Society for Industrial Ecology promotes industrial ecology as a way of finding innovative solutions to complicated environmental problems, and facilitates communication among scientists, engineers, policymakers, managers and advocates who are interested in better integrating environmental concerns with economic activities. The mission of the ISIE is to promote the use of industrial ecology in research, education, policy, community development, and industrial practices.
